Hey there cute little family. I somehow got on your email list (which I am THRILLED with BTW) I think from maybe kellie t? Anyhow-Julie (I know I know...Neelama) Its Amy Hobbs leaving you a quick comment just to say hello-and touch base with you. we should chat-on the phone sometime. I don't know if kellie told you about my youngest, Elliott, but he was diagnosed with autism when he was 2. he is almost 8 now-but I totally know what you are going through and would love to catch up. email me-I look forward to hearing from you!!!!

Neelama and Michael, A friend of ours had a Downs Syndrome child. She was advised to teach him the hand signs that deaf children learn and for the family to learn them. It was the most wonderful thing for all of them. Tyler could communicate with them years earlier than he was able to talk. A lot of his frustration at not being able to communicate disappeared for both him and his family. Don't know if this will work for Kai but I wanted to pass it on to you. Love, Penny

Neelama,
I recieved this web link from a mutual high school friend (colleen f) and I am glad I did. What a beautiful amazing little boy you have. Kai is such a wonderful gift and I enjoy reading your blog about his life. I wish you all the success with his treatment!! I am slightly familiar with his condition, but reading about it through your eyes is makes it real. I work in the medical field and sometimes the clinical descriptions of conditions make thing so impersonal and sterile. I'd rather learn about the condition through your experiences and through Kai's life!! He is such an adorable boy. Best of luck to your family!

Hi Michael and Neelama,
I donated the monetary gift that they gave me when I left my old job in July. I sense that I would not have gotten my new job if not for the growth that I have experienced from the courses that you give. With gratitude, -Louise in Ottawa
